I came to yoga about 10 years ago after ending up in the emergency room with terrible back pain and spasms. After doing research and talking to doctors, all paths seemed to lead to yoga, so I jumped in.  Once I was no longer falling over in each pose, I truly started to feel the benefits of the physical practice and then decided to dig a bit deeper moving into meditation and ultimately to a full immersion and teacher training. I completed my teacher training in 2012 at Yogalove in Yardley, PA.

I started my career as a CPA and auditor, working over 25 years in the corporate world, ending as CFO of a large public company.  In August, 2017 I decided to step out of the rat race and focus on my personal well being.

For most of my adult life I fought hard to find a balance between a 24/7 job and family. Yoga helped me create some balance and the physical benefits were amazing. Since that last trip to the emergency room 10 years ago, my back has never been better.

My teacher training was in Vinyasa, and I have complemented that with training/certification in Broga® . I make efforts to attend as many classes at as many studios as possible to gain insights and ideas for my own practice and teaching.

I also enjoy cycling, racquetball, tennis, golf and reading. Learning is a key piece of my life and I embrace new opportunities with an open mind and heart.
