Currently, I serve the community of greater Central Ohio as the Corporate Wellness Director for the YMCA of Central Ohio. My daily mission is to provide individuals with support that promotes growth in one’s level of motivation and perceived competence- helping them achieve success in their pursuit of health and well-being.

I have been leading and coaching others in the health and fitness arena for over 20 years and, during this time, I have acquired a very diverse range of experiences. It’s these experiences that allow me to be the teacher and leader that I am today. In all that I do- every class that I teach- I aim to inspire and challenge others while also being human and relatable.

I often draw inspiration and energy from these experiences and the relationships that were built simultaneously. As I think of the marathons I have completed while running as a guide to a blind athlete or as coach for a stroke survivor, I am reminded of the potential of the human spirit. I do believe all things are possible and enjoy leading others towards this discovery.

Although I have been teaching exercise to groups and individuals my entire career, Yoga only recently has been added to the scope of what I do. Today, I have arrived at a point in my life where Yoga just makes the most sense. Yoga is allowing me to continue my unique journey as a growing human being.

I am thankful to have “discovered” Broga and look forward to every opportunity to introduce it to others.
