Broga® Yoga instructors are now encouraged to get their own Broga-related handle. It’s important to understand that the broader the handle is, the more likely it is that you’ll eventually have to share it with other Broga instructors. For example, “Broga D.C.” is pretty broad. It’s a city of seven million people. There will definitely be more DC-based Broga instructors and we wouldn’t want to restrict their ability to promote themselves and their classes. Alternatively, “Broga with [Your First Name]” is pretty specific and “Broga D.C. with [Your First Name]” is even more specific…
The word “Broga” should be first, followed by whatever you decide to include. The ® symbol should be included in the title of the account. (See our official Twitter page for an example).
We generally want to channel traffic through our corporate Broga FB page, but we want to put you in the driver seat for building Broga in your area. Go for it, but please abide by these rules:
Title of FB page can be “Broga D.C. with [your first and last name]” or “Broga with [your first and last name]”… Any other options should be submitted for approval.
The page should be described with use of this information somewhere in the first two sentences: “Broga® Yoga licensed instructor, [Your First and Last Name]”
The page will be monitored. Any obscene language, imagery, off-brand content, or anything that could in any way be interpreted as compromising the integrity of the Broga® Yoga brand, will be grounds for termination of the licensing agreement and immediate issuance of a Cease & Desist order for any current/future use of ‘Broga®’.
Handling miscreants: There may be instances where people make rude, obnoxious, or profane comments on FB or Twitter and it is Broga’s official policy to either a) respond with calm, cool, collected facts and information, or b) ignore them. Fighting online is not ok and will be grounds for termination of the licensing agreement and immediate issuance of a Cease & Desist order for any current/future use of ‘Broga®’.
